On May 13, 2008, at approximately 6:00pm, deputies from the San Xavier District responded to the 4200 block of West Bopp Road in reference to a burglary. Deputies found forced entry into the residence at the front door. Items taken include a file box with tax and personal information.
The victim advised that his home has been targeted multiple times over the last few months; however, no entry was made on any of the previous incidents. Because of the previous attempts, the victim had installed a surveillance camera inside his residence. The video shows a burglar – male, possibly Native American – walking in and out of the residence several times. At one point, there is a clear picture of the suspect’s face.
Burglary detectives have been unsuccessful in identifying a suspect in this incident. They are asking for the public’s assistance in possible identification of a suspect. The video is being made available for review to the media by contacting Deputy Dawn Hanke. Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME. |
